The game

Beat the Gaffer is a free score-prediction game. There is no entry fee, no gambling and nothing staked. You predict scorelines, you earn points, you try to beat the Gaffer and your mates. That is the whole deal.

Scoring is explained on the How to play page. In any edge case the organiser’s scoring decision is final.

Your data

We store your email address (used for magic-link sign-in and game updates), your display name, your predictions and your scores. We use analytics to understand how the game is used. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Every game email includes an unsubscribe link. If you want your account and data deleted, email us and we will do it.

Fair play

Leagues and the wall are shared spaces. We may remove content or accounts that are abusive or spoil the game for others.
